Fraud in Equine Transactions

As per the latest news from Times of India on Jan 6, 2023 a resident of Panchkula Mr. Ajit Kumar of Sector 25, who runs a stud farm, purchased a Marwari Alishan horse for ₹44 lakh from Mansa district of Punjab, but came to know that the horse has health issues. The police has registered a case of fraud for the same.

According to him, on July 3 2022 he made a deal with Hardeep Singh who is a resident of Mansa district in Punjab to buy his male Marwari Alishan breed horse for 44 Lakh. Ajit paid in cash for the horse but two days later after a check up, a veterinary doctor said the horse has been chronically ill for the last two years.
